Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines. SEO targets unpaid traffic (known as “natural” or “organic” results) rather than direct traffic or paid traffic. Unpaid traffic may originate from different kinds of searches, including image search, video search, academic search, news search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

Web page content – Each page must contain keywords in the headings and description that has the words that Internet visitors type in to find your web page. Too little or too much text/copy on a page can also keep Google from indexing your website. All images should be compressed so the page load time in browser isn’t too long where your traffic will not wait for the page to load.
Styling of your website – Make sure you format your page headings to use H1, H2 & H3 and Body Text. If your web page does not have at least one heading that is formatted as H1 on a page, Google may will not index it and your web page will not be seen by Internet traffic.
Keep your page content relevant – The purpose of a business web page is to draw your viewer’s interest and keep them interested in what you offer so the chances of them becoming your customer is increased.
Reduce the load speed of your pages – The time it takes to load a web page is determined mostly by how large in memory the page is. Keep your image files as small in file size as possible without sacrificing too much on quality of the images. Videos on a web page is great for keeping your viewer engaged; however pages with videos tend to load slower than pages with only graphics, images and text do.
Use page metatags – Make sure that all of your web pages have <title> tags. This tells the search engines what the titles are of each page and will pull out the relevant keywords from the titles that the Internet viewer is searching for. So, please make sure you put search keywords in your titles.
Also make sure each web page has the <description> tag. Description is a brief paragraph of relevant copy that describes each web page.
